Newest Students

Scholarship for Granada currently is looking for donations to send students to college. One student recently was sponsored by a family to go to school in Managua, Nicaragua; his name is Kairo and he is going to start attending UNICIT (Nicaragua University of Technology and Science) in August.

Kairo is 17 and lives with his single mother right now; she cannot afford to send him to college, therefore he found Scholarship for Granada and will start school very soon. He is going to study Graphic Design and Construction at UNICIT; Kairo was inspired to study this because he always had an interest in drawing as he grew up. The program will take 4 years and he will attend school everyday during the week, but will have to travel to Managua each day. Kairo is the first recipient of the scholarship to be attending school in the captial city, but choses to as his preferred school is located there.

There still are opportunities to help students as this scholarship is becoming more and more popular and young people around the area of Granada are learning about it. Jean Carla is another future recipient that is yet to receive any funding from outside donors. She is planning on studying Business Administration in a university in Granada, but currently does not have any funding to do so. The scholarship is looking for donors to sponsor her, partially or completely.
